The Data We Gather

Everything you type on the installer request form reaches us: the type of help you need, how many steps there are, your dog's weight, ZIP code, name, email, your phone number (only if you add one) and your note. The page you sent the form from is noted as well.

Each visit produces standard server logs kept by our hosting provider: your browser's user agent, your IP address, the time, and the address requested. We use those logs to run the site and to count visits.

Your own browser (local storage) holds the last answers you gave in the ramp length finder, so they are still there next time. Nothing in that data ever leaves your device. No cookies are set, and no third-party scripts, ads, or trackers run on the site.

Where Your Request Is Sent

Each request goes to a single installer that handles stair lifts, platform lifts, or ramps and serves your ZIP code. That installer can then reply to you. Some state privacy laws may view passing a lead along in that way as selling or sharing personal information. Data is handled for us by our hosting and email providers, under contract. Installers never receive server logs from us.

Keeping Your Request

A request stays with us while we still need it for passing on and answering questions. Ask us, and we will delete it sooner.

Your Privacy Rights

States with a consumer privacy law include California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and more. If yours is one of them, you can ask to see your information, get a copy, correct it, delete it, or say no to any sale or sharing of it. You will be treated the same whether or not you ask. Use the address you sent from to email [email protected], or go to the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. Any refusal can be appealed by answering our reply. An authorized agent can also ask for you, once you give them written permission.

If your browser is set to send Global Privacy Control, we read that as you opting out of any selling or sharing.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not set out to collect details from anyone under 16.

Changes

Any new version of this notice replaces this page.
